P.O. leaves his lonely life in Sweden to visit his son Jacob in Denmark. It's been 13 long years since they last met. The only news he'd had from Jacob all these years were brief messages scribbled on postcards send from all over the world- he's traveling; he's met a Swedish girl; they've been married. And then nothing. Until now--an invitation to a party for his 30th birthday at a restaurant in Copenhagen. Why does Jacob suddenly want to see his father? Why does the Swedish wife speak Danish? And why, despite the best intentions, are they not able to connect? With so much hope and need for love and understanding, this reunion between father and son can only go wrong...
