She devoted her life to death and dying and achieved world fame in the process. Today, after suffering a number of severe strokes, she lives in seclusion in the Arizona desert: waiting - as she puts it - for her own death. A visit with Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, born in Zurich in 1926, as she looks back over her life. Alongside Dr. Ross' own memories, we hear from her triplet sisters and from former colleagues. Experts in the field also share their points of view. Few contemporary figures have done as much to destigmatize dying. At the same time, few people have generated such controversy through their statements on the topic. The difficulty of grasping the notion of "death". How do we deal with the question of mortality? And what will happen when our own hearts stop beating?
