B comme Béjart
Shot from Feb. to June 2001, Marcel Schüpbach's film follows Maurice Béjart during the complex production of a new ballet called "Lumière." From rehearsals to the premiere, Béjart, an incredibly youthful 75, calls the tune. He lets his passion for life explode in a work that makes use of the music of artists who have counted a great deal for him: Bach, Brel, Barbara. Through his work, the film reveals both the man and the little boy who still dwells inside him. A moving portrait.
