Asesino
30,000 young people disappeared during the violent Junta regime in Argentina, among them – 3,000 Jews. Asesino unrolls the story of some of the families who have lost their loved ones. Thousands have knocked at the doors of the Israeli Embassy in Buenos-Aires, pleading for the assistance of the state of Israel. But, ignoring the political situation in Argentina, Israel kept selling weapons and military equipment to the generals in power. Only in June 1983 did the Israeli Parliament hold a special session to discuss the disappearance of Jews in Argentina. In 1983 the military government in Argentina was finally overturned. All military officials involved in torture and murder were given amnesty. But the mothers of Plaza de Majo, jewish and non-jewish, still protest and search for their lost children.
