From the end of 2001, well before the major economic and social crisis, the Argentines have endured very harsh living conditions. By following four persons-an unemployed man, a retiree, a professional free-lancer and an immigrant-in their daily lives, this film shows us the apprehensive realities that have long been the lot of the Argentine people. Made in October and November 2001, this documentary is a major testimony on the origins of the crisis that has brought the country to the edge of the abyss.
