Al Manar TV : Au nom du Hezbollah
1991, the Hezbollah, "the party of God," starts a television station in Beirut: Al Manar – "the lighthouse" in Arabic. 11 years later, Al Manar is broadcast via satellite 18 hours a day and reaches some 200 million people throughout the world. Al Manar's main message is "the disappearance of the State of Israel and the fight against those the Hezbollah calls the Zionist enemy". Even though Al Manar broadcasts worldwide, its main target are the Palestinian who watch it everyday and who, for some, consider it as the sole resistance channel to Israel.
