Seven months after the fall of the Taliban and the coming to power of the Tajiks, what is the state of affairs of health in Kabul? Despite the massive arrival of international NGOs and the presence of the UN, there is still widespread helplessness and confusion among the doctors and health professionals, who complain about the many broken promises. They speak out on the lack of health care, the financial difficulties to ensure the training of new doctors, the absence of psychological assistance. Silently, the citizens of Kabul bear up under the heavy burden of depression, insomnia and bombing-related traumas.
