Trafic d'enfantsChildren Traffic
The film was inspired by images of a Malian child, his body covered with scars, after being beaten in the plantations of the Ivory Coast. He was a victim of an appalling child slave trade traffic between Mali and the Ivory Coast. This film examines how this trade works and seeks to expose the plantations in which these children are exploited like slaves. We meet Malians who dream of leaving home to seek their fortune to the Ivory Coast. It is also the story of Ibrahim, a victim of this trade, and all the little Malians who were repatriated back to their families. To film slavery in the 21st century is to show the unacceptable.
