Sur la longueur d'onde de Michael Snow, zoom arrière

Michael Snow, that unique and unclassifiable Canadian artist, has experimented with every field of artistic creation since the 60s: photography, cinema, music, sculpture, painting, holography. Last spring's retrospective at the Centre National de la Photographie gave the public the chance to discover this artist's entertaining explorations and the amusing way he manipulates the eye of the beholder through the photographic illusions he creates. This documentary describes the world of Michael Snow by inverting the process used for his cult film, Wavelength. Here the zoom out replacing the slow zoom in of Wavelength, allowing us to gradually discover the works of Snow, commented on and accompanied at the piano by the artist in person.
