Résonances de Vienne
This film propose to follow the composer Philippe Hurel, during the work in process of completion of his piece "Pour Luigi" with his "Ensemble Court-Circuit" from the rehearseals to the final concert taking place in Vienna. We make a trip in Vienna with this music; the different lights change with the different notes of the composition, as such as the exterior surround seems to be born from the composer's universe. Philippe Hurel entrusts us his sources of inspiration and explains us his composing methods as well as the aesthetic principals of this piece; this composer knows how to impose his research of a personal language. He draws his inspiration from various musicals as well as non-musical influences like Jazz, Funk, architecture... above all he tries to make us listen "unheard" and unbelievable sounds.
