Pharmacie par terre
An inexperienced customs officer dares to intercept a truck full of outdated drugs. The merchant to whom the merchandise belongs quickly contacts the politician who has been "sponsoring" his activities, in exchange for a substantial campaign contribution. When the politician intervenes, the merchandise is "liberated" and sold on the market, while the customs officer is punished. Meanwhile, the taximan Koffi is suffering from a mild indisposition. He goes to see a doctor and ends up with one of those endless prescriptions which discourage most people from going to the drugstore. On advice from Bernard, another penniless patient, Koffi discovers the "drug market" and all sorts of pills sold at cheap prices, without directions for use or dosage. By trying to cure a mild sickness, Koffi ends up dangerously ill. The fetish-priest Baba Woulou, who is on his way to a seminar on traditional pharmacopoeia, saves him at the last minute. Baba Woulou decides to dismantle the drug trafficking ring.
