"Zoran and Svetlana run a private film school in Belgrade. I met them in Lisbon, where I live. Every year they would come to our documentary film festival and show their students films. We became close friends. Ten years of war and the recent bombardment of the city made it hard for them to keep the school going on. Now, for the first time in the last two years they have decided to start a documentary on world music in Belgrade. When Milosevic has scheduled the elections for the 24th of September, Zoran, Svetlana and their students supported the opposition candidate, Kustunica. I came to Serbia for a month to make a film about the making of their film. I just couldn't imagine how important and unique my days in Serbia would become."
