Forget me, If You Can
The students of the Jewish High School of Budapest took their final exam in March 1944, just before the beginning of the extermination of Hungarian Jews. Fifty years later, the survivors have decided to meet again in Budapest. Twenty four students will be there, some of them accompanied by their families; they live in eight different countries. The film reactivates their interrupted dialogue: those who, in Israel, have chosen to build a Jewish state, those who in Hungary mourn the hopes of socialism, or those who have looked for oblivion in western democracies...
