Offspring
A year ago, Canadian filmmaker Barry Stevens discovered that he might have two hundred half-brothers and sisters. Stevens, one of the very first people born of artificial conception, set out to find some of his secret siblings - and to uncover the identity of the anonymous sperm donor who was the biological father of this strange, lost clan. Offspring makes the personnal documentary in a new direction. It is an emotional detective story with a meditation on the nature of fatherhood. It is an affirmation of the meaning of biological connection.
