Mjeker e ThinjurGrey Beard
Albania, 2001. Families of formerly persecuted political prisoners are still abandoned by the State and society as relics of the Communist Regime and live in the camps of the ex-dictatorship. 55 years ago their big mistake was that they were against commmunism. The Enver Hoxha's regime sent them in work camps. Their children and grandchildren were born and grew up there, where they still remain. Theoretically, free to move from the camps, practically they can’t. They have nowhere to go. No place to live. No jobs to hold down. No helping hand to take. They still lead abandoned lives in the same camp, the same cottages, in their forgotten poverty. Three shocking personal stories merge into one stunning true story. Who are these people and why have they been abandoned? Why have they been stripped of their human rights?
