In January 2001, Alan and Judith Kilshaw found themselves in the centre of an adoption scandal which ran like a global soap opera. The press dubbed the Kilshaws the worst parents in Britain. Did the Kilshaws deserve to become national hate figures of were they just another two casualties of tabloid hype? Filmaker spent six months with the Kilshaws.
