Leon Fleisher - les leçons d'un Maître
American pianist Leon Fleisher was a child prodigy. A product of the first generation of Russian-Jewish immigrants, he was discovered by Arthur Schnabel, one of the great pre-war pianists. Fleisher enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame and was universally acclaimed as one of the most gifted American musicians. In the early 60s, paralysis suddenly and mysteriously set into his right hand. This film shows how he dealt with this ordeal by becoming a world-rank piano teacher.
