On the morning of July 1st 2000, the first day of the Tour de France, the 23 year-old Scottish racer David Millar does a last round of warm-up exercises before the start of individual stop-watch trials. 5:42 p.m., Millar takes off. 19 minutes and 2 seconds later, he falls exhausted on the other side of the finish line before putting on his first yellow jersey ever amid general pandemonium. His team is in a waking dream but the real trouble is just starting. Now, they will have to develop the right strategy to defend the leading position. Three days later, after many tribulations, David Millar loses his cherished jersey. His dream falls apart but the race goes on for the team and the other characters in the film that tells the incidents of a team and an organisation during the biggest cyclist race in the world.
