Jean Cortot, Painted Writing

We see through his two studios in Paris and in the Lot area, close to Turenne, but also the one deeply inscribed in the French southern countryside. This documentary wants to translate Jean Cortot's personal touch. Landscape painter of the mind, Jean Cortot seems to be born to call the words, to break them, to let them fall such as rain of letters on the beach of the canvas so he can gather them into a round following the music of the prism. Jean Cortot's work and this portrait are a tribute to the empire of the signs, those which are swaped between painters and poets.
