Islamistes-USA : l'histoire secrète d'une alliance contre nature

This is the story of a time bomb. Just when Bin Laden was becoming international Public Enemy Number One, when the US were responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center, this documentary conducted a counter-investigation into the United States’ role in Islamist activities in the past 20 years. How the American and Pakistani secret services, allied against the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 80s, armed and trained several tens of thousands of mujahidin fundamentalists. How radical Islamists were trained for combat, some on American soil, even before turning into warriors and terrorists. How yesterday’s allies became today’s enemies. In Pakistan, the United States and Russia, journalists met with the key players of this story, former CIA agents and agents of the Pakistani secret services, and even tracked down an US Army officer, who became one of Bin Laden’s right-hand men.
