Based on Lord Byron’s play “The Two Foscari”, "I Due Foscari" is one of the 27 operas Verdi composed during his life. Although less known than "The Traviata”, “Nabucco” or “Aida”, the music and the passion of the score bear out a renewed interest from the audience.
