Hell on earth -this is what Dieter Riechmann, a German citizen, has been experiencing for more than 13 years on Death Row. He was sentenced to death after a Florida Court found him guilty of murdering his girlfriend Kersten Kischnik. She was shot on October 27, 1987 in Miami, Florida. Riechmann has been protesting his innocence ever since and is fighting for his life. The documentary retraces the fate of Dieter Riechmann and reveals a chain of scandalous procedures, including the manipulation and withholding of evidence in the course of the investigations and during the trial. For the first time, clues, evidence and statements which confirm his innocence are presented to the public.
