Sierra Leone. At 16, Kay Yussif is already a war veteran in spite of himself. Abducted from his family by rebel forces, he was compelled to commit acts of atrocities. A traumatic experience that cost him his childhood. Like some 10,000 other children of Sierre Leone, he is both victim and executioner. Philippines. Rachel Milanes is 14. She began making fireworks when she was nine. It's a dangerous profession, practiced in unsafe conditions, and Rachel has seen many accidents. She no longer attends school. Even if she dreams of being a singer some day, she knows she's trapped and that she will probably never fulfill her dream. In the Philippines, one out of every six children works. Canada.
