The film introduces us in the depth of relationship between two families, the Venturas and the Miralpeix during the first half of the 20th century. A story of love, disapointments, frustrations and revenges disrupted by the humiliating post-war period in Spain, the civil war and the dictatorship. Based on different novels by the prestigious Catalan writer Montserrat Roig, From the Balcony offers us an unexplored point of view about the facts. The vision of women is especially outstanding: women like Kati, Ramona, Mundeta or Judit allow the spectators to introduce themselves in the secrets of the feminine soul. An elaborated story of feelling, experiences and habits through which the character will reveal.
