After his revues, Historic, Arabic and Panic, Charlie Degotte completes his Four Seasons of the year 2000 with the new revue, Lyric, at the Chapelle des Brigittines. He is seconded by Philippe Tasquin as musical director, Nina as choreographer and a mixed company of opera singers and old associates. A firework display of laughter, emotion and scathing irony aimed at the cultural policies of French-speaking Belgium. The film takes us behind the scenes of this lyric explosion which merges prodigious creative energy and a deep feeling of bitterness about the standing of creative artists.
