Confession : pianiste

A musician lives to be heard and make himself available to an audience and the critics. He can, of course, record but the moment of truth is when he plays in front of an audience. What does the concert mean for an artist who is confronted with the exercise and how does he live the event? How does he prepare and what goes through his mind just before he makes his entrance, just before he plays the opening notes? Is a concert really a moment of ecstasy for a musician? Does music bring happiness to a musician who dedicates his life to his art? To answer these questions, the director followed Jean-Marc Luisada through the key moments of several concerts: from the rehearsals to the tension in the dressing room and the entrance on stage. During these concerts, we also meet violinist Laurent Korcia, the Lille National Symphonic, conductor Marin Alsop and tenor Jean-Paul Fouchécourt. We discover what relationships develop between these musicians. But, first and foremost, this film is an intimate portrait of a man who has made music his "confession."
