Buñuel en Hollywood
This documentary follows, both from a human and a professional point of view, the life of the filmmaker in North America, his relationship with Charles Chaplin and Robert Wise, and his time at the MOMA. Family and friends, Victor Stoloff and Dan O'Heirlilhy, who played the leading role in The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, speak to the cameras. So too does Woody Allen, who reveals his admiration for the work of Buñuel, whom he offered a role in Annie Hall. The documentary concludes with Buñuel's triomphant return to Hollywood in 1972.
