Buffalo K. Bill
Zaher, 34, could have been a herdsman like many others in the Pyrenees. But with his "made in the USA" cap on his head, he watches his animals on horseback, cowboy-fashion. A solid-looking fellow, he guards a herd of 600 cows, calves and bulls for six months, from May to October. Zaher spends several hours on horseback in the company of his dogs and reigns over a territory of 4,000 hectares. Once a week, he does a complete inspection of his cowsheds and spends eight hours on horseback watching his livestock. This is the portrait of an endearing individual who shows us how he lives and works and speaks his mind.
