Monowara and Poppy came to the city from the country. Both girls started very young to prostitute themselves under terrible conditions in brothels. They tell us the reasons why they came here and speak about the shame, the diseases, and the harsh life in the streets. They both managed to escape and are now living in a park. But even in the park they are not left alone, often they are beaten up and forced to pay to live there. Two years later we meet Monowara in Dhaka. She is now in prison and is the mother of a little boy.
