Death and Judgement

When high-powered lawyer CarloTrevisan and a respected accountant, Favero, are killed within days of each other, Brunetti joins forces with the Padua Police Force and uncovers an international prostitution network supplying young women for snuff movies. Brunetti's inquiries lead him to the late Favero's mistress and owner of a travel agency in Venice, Signora Ceroni. A former hooker herself, Ceroni is helping prostitutes to enter the country but her three associates are raping and killing them while making snuff movies. Ceroni seeks vengeance and helps Brunetti solve the case.
