Une vie de chiens

A Dog's Life

In the martyr city of Sarajevo, Vladimir, the non-violent, picks up cadavers. Although peacetime may have returned, Vladimir, betrayed by his friends and his fiancée who fled with another, only finds peace among the stray dogs, often mutilated and whose eyes reflect a pain comparable to his own. This staggering portrait presents the refuge Vladimir has built from nothing, where he describes himself as the biggest dog of them all. He knows the name, temperament, habits and fears of his 700 protégés and claims the same privilege for himself that he grants to his 4-legged companions : to keep his story and its mysteries to himself. To be loved...
