Tashi Delek
Fabiola Alonso, this 37-year-old woman from Madrid, tireless traveller over all of Asia, as worked in Tibet for years, anonymously and alone, trying to lift a group of orphaned street children out of the most miserable conditions imaginable, here on the roof of the world with one of the most severe climates on earth. This documentary reflects one woman's iron will to change a small corner of the world, an effort which has rewarded her with the satisfaction of seeing a radical change in the lives of a small group of fortunate Tibetan children. "Tashi Delek", the Tibetan expression for taking leave of a traveller wishing him the best of luck, represents in this documentary the desire that Fabiola Alonso's work may reach its eminently humanitarian destination.
