Inspired by Nekrassov’s famous Russian poem "Who’s happy living in Russia ?", a man undertakes a search for a happy person across the Russian countryside. The story of this man and the stories of those he meets make up the narrative frame of this documentary road movie, which is also a meditation on the word "happiness" in Russia.
