Oddly enough, the question of borders has always been a subject of discussion in Albania. It would even seem to be rooted in the popular consciousness to such an extent that they say that the recent events in Kosovo could very easily have taken place decades ago. The proof of this is to be found in this game, which originated God knows where, devised by children : "Dividing Up the World". A circle is traced in chalk. The circle is divided up depending on the number of players. Every section represents a country with a child as its leader. The point is not to be caught by the one who wins the right to invade his territory, and to change the world with thick white lines we call borders, which also give one the right to "kill" ! History is full of dates and places where "Dividing Up the World" has been played. Today, the Albanians also die for borders.
