Twelve years old, Lila walks the streets like the older women. It's not always fun but, thankfully, some clients are kind. Not like Chris. He takes her straight to the hotel, gives her some Coke and then plays. Except that Chris has very strange games and, when he is having fun, Lila is not. He plays with her body, touches it, forces things inside it, things that burn. But, thankfully, Chris is a soldier, and soon, he'll go back home to see his wife and his baby. Even thinking about this doesn't make Lila smile anymore. It's just that, inside her, the thing is burning painfully. When, then, shall she be free from her pain ? If, at least, Mum was here, Lila says to herself, I could pass away more gently...
