Les Deux vies du chat Radiguet
The intentions can only be good when a TV director undertakes to relate the adventure on earth of the will-o'-the-wisp, Raymond Radiguet. Les Deux vies du chat Radiguet, a program conceived by Pierre Trividic and the author of these clumsy lines, indulges in the "unreasonable" desire of trying to lift the veil of deceptive appearances, which will forever hide the "true personalities" of this lost "Man-Child" of France's Lost Generation. Why would audiences of France's third channel watch this "videogram", if they haven't read first Raymond Radiguet's two famous works, "Devil in the Flesh" and "Count Orgel's Ball" ? Luckily, this question stands a good chance of remaining unanswered. Jean-Christophe Averty May 26, 2000
