On the threshold of the 21st century, this daily newspaper founded in 1765 remains a privileged observatory of British society and its capital. Is The Times still the faithful reflection of the establishment or has it taken into account the new social and political situation of this country ? By following the investigation of three journalists in the streets of London and in the offices of the paper, this film is a portrait of contemporary England.
