This documentary is about the Forest People - baptized Pygmies by the West -, their dying oral tradition and the westernization that has been making inexorable inroads, signaling the end of their independence and their difference. Settled and marginalized, they are due to vanish within the next ten years. This may bring about the implosion of a part of the equatorial forest, leaving this wealth without these guardians to watch over it and the planet. We meet the last of these little people of the forest in order to testify to the fact that they did indeed live here. This was in Gabon, in the early 21st century.
