In France, there have been officially only two deaths. A figure that is all the more surprising because the French have consumed contaminated British meat. A nine-month investigation in the field denounces the traffic in meat and animal meal in France and Belgium, the scandal of the stocking of animal meal, the pollution and possible contamination by knacker's yards.
