La Juge Beaulieu

Sophie Beaulieu is an examining magistrate who has trouble reconciling her professional and family life. Her 12-year-old son Sébastien often complains about her absences. One morning, as Sophie drives him to school, they promise to take a weekend together, just the two of them. That same afternoon, Sébastien is accidentally hit in the head and ends up in irremediable coma. After a night of suffering, Sophie allows the doctor to "unplug" her son. Then she spends several days locked in a seedy hotel room where she approaches the edge of madness and suicide. When she emerges from her private hell, she learns that Sébastien's death wasn't an accident. Suddenly this woman reveals her fighting spirit and courage. Sophie opens an investigation - she will not close it until she finds the truth.
