A "Jean Cocteau - Francis Poulenc" show, presented at the Théâtre Impérial of Compiègne in March 2000, for the centennial commemorations of the birth of Francis Poulenc. The Lady from Monte-Carlo A harrowing operatic monologue about a forlorn woman who has lost love and youth... She has just been thrown out of the Monte-Carlo casino and ends up sitting alone, on a bench, in the middle of the night. The Human Voice A woman, alone in an unkept bedroom, speaks on the phone to her lover, who is leaving her to marry another woman.
