An old man lies down the railway line, manifestly weary of life. The train that is about to cost him life and limb is already approaching when, behind a milestone, he sees a strange gnome excitedly waving a handkerchief at him. The train is approaching fast, the old man hesitates. The train and its numerous carriages block the onlooker's view and then we are sure : curiosity won... Produced in the traditionnal way, using pencil and colour crayons on paper, the film leads the audience into a mysterious world where questions abound face to these Hobos, sort of weird and wonderful manifestation of Angel of Death.
