FreeDogme
Five years ago, the film collective called Dogma 95 was created in Copenhagen when Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg signed an "vow of chastity". Since then, this charter and this new form of cinema, closely linked to the new technologies, have gone around the world to form a genre in its own right. This film is a report on this movement, as seen by some of its founders : Lars von Trier, Jean-Marc Barr, Lone Scherfig. Mediated by a Swedish film critic, they talk among themselves, but also with Wim Wenders, here playing the role of the "Candide". The director used an unusual device : a filmed phone conversation. Each of the participants chooses the place where he would like to be : so he ends up in a familiar spot somewhere in the world.
