In 1996, the Danish Minister for Refugees witnesses the exhuming of a mass grave in Bosnia. She decides to try to expose the massacre and personally go after the man responsible who, as it turns out, is on the War Crimes Tribunal's secret list of war criminals. In the summer of 1999, she begins an intense pursuit and soon finds herself standing face to face with the man responsible for the massacre. He turns out to be... a politician.
