The Balogh family is on the verge of falling apart when the father, who was thought to be dead, suddenly comes home from the hospital. He is a crippled man full of life, a liar with a vivid imagination, and a savior. His goal is to keep the family together, but nobody believes in him except his youngest son. Balogh battles courageously, struggling with his disabled body. He draws on the same energy with which he looks for a job, plays the harmonica, begs or lies. But he can't prevent the family from self-destructing. Even his little boy has to face the fact that his father is no hero, but a weak, pathetic figure. Consequently, the boy becomes resigned to a fatal act that's a little bit worse than death. Balogh would rather die...
