Dr. Lucille

Based on the life of Dr. Lucille Teasdale, Dr. Lucille is the story of two dedicated doctors and their selfless devotion to human life and dignity. Set in the hypnotic beauty of the East-African landscape, the passionate romance begins when Dr. Piero Corti persuades Dr. Lucille Teasdale to spend her summer months helping him as a surgeon, in a medical mission in Uganda. Overcome by her newfound passion for Piero and her adopted country, Dr. Lucille decides to settle in Uganda to help Piero expand the missionary clinic. The daily hardships of the local people strike a chord with Dr. Lucille who will devote her life to improving their well-being.
