Far from conflicts, protected by the walls of a rich and noble house, a little girl, in her simple omnipotence, observes the world of men. In a dreamy trip to the memory of the future, she has the experiences of women. She attracts and repulses, as she wishes, the images of men who come towards her. She plays along, but when the dream fades away, she doesn’t rise to the challenge of a tough emotional education. On the carpet of fantasy, she flies somewhere else, to a world that is both harmonic and chaotic at the same time, searching for a version of blessedness. When she feels ready, she breaks the spell. And she goes back to face life where time runs on. Tell Me I’m Lovely is a choreography of Company Corte Sconta for four men, four women, and a little girl. The video was filmed during the performance at the Piccolo Teatro of Milan and in a Venetian villa.
