15-year-old Tony lives in Marseille. He's a child who's been hardened by his mother's death and the clashes with his long unemployed father whom he tends to look down on. His friendship with Marc, a boy his age, and the distant image of an older sister are his only refuge. He and Marc belong to a gang that extort money from other children. The suicide attempt of one victimized child confronts Tony with the reality of his acts and his own confusion. In reaction he plunges deeper into self-destructive excess. He lets himself go but at the same time tries to escape it... Until the day his violent nature truly explodes in a fight with other kids forcing him to make a crucial choice.
