Der AtemkünstlerThe Breath Artist
Young Felix lives with his father on a traditional fairground where he is one of the attractions. Every day he climbs into a large aquarium and remains submerged for several minutes - for Felix can live without breathing. But his father considers that this show doesn't bring in enough money : a boy who just sits under water isn't a crowd-pleaser. Felix is increasingly unhappy. He dreams of showing the world he's not just a fairground curiosity. One day, the circus director Kahlmann sees Felix's performance and offers him a spectacle more in line with his talents : to remain enclosed in an aquarium for three years...
