Witchcraft is a notorious supernatural practice in Africa and other parts of the world. In Africa, it is the cause of many deaths. This phenomenon, which has traditional roots, still presents a challenge to contemporary Africa. Life is sacred and it is unjust that some are ready to rob others of it. Boudou, a witch who lives in Yomi village in southern Chad, contravenes this law by putting an end to the life of Assoum, the daughter of a well-known local farmer. She is to be punished. The doctor, who witnessed the death of many patients, tells Boudou's story in his own way.
